Holistic Abdominal Therapy

Your body wasn't designed to struggle. It was designed to function.

Holistic Abdominal Therapy is gentle, non-invasive bodywork that restores alignment, improves circulation, and supports the body's natural ability to heal from the inside out.

Holistic Abdominal Therapy

What is Holistic Abdominal Therapy?

Holistic Abdominal Therapy is a non-invasive, external form of bodywork that works by relieving congestion and blockages to improve the flow of energy and fluids through the circulatory, lymphatic, and nervous systems. Patty integrates 3 ancient and proven techniques into every session: Maya Abdominal Therapy, Chi Nei Tsang, and Visceral Manipulation.

Together, these approaches work to restore proper organ alignment, reduce restriction in the abdomen and pelvis, and support the body's natural systems so they can function the way they were designed to. It's not about forcing outcomes. It's about creating the conditions the body needs to do its job.

Normally, the uterus sits slightly forward over the bladder in the center of the pelvis, held in place by muscles and ligaments. When those ligaments weaken or loosen, the uterus can shift, constricting normal flow and causing a cascade of symptoms including painful periods, fertility challenges, digestive issues, and more. Holistic Abdominal Therapy works to gently restore proper positioning and balance so the body can function optimally again.

What to expect

What your first session looks like

Your first session is approximately 2 hours. That extra time matters, because before any treatment begins, Patty sits down with you. She wants to understand your full health history, your concerns, what you've already tried, and what you're hoping for. Nothing is rushed. Nothing is skipped.

From there, your session is tailored entirely to your body and your needs. Patty uses gentle, external techniques throughout. Most clients find the experience deeply relaxing. Some areas of tension may feel slightly tender, but pressure is always adjusted to your comfort level. You're in control the entire time.

After your session, Patty will walk you through what she found, what she worked on, and what she recommends as a next step. Many clients also receive guidance on self-care practices they can do at home to support the work between sessions.

A few things to know before you book:
